It’s March Madness, a very exciting time for sports fans, but spring is equally important to car enthusiasts. All the exciting car shows and swap meets are waking up from their winter slumber and are now ready for more shows, cruises, and swaps!
MyClassicGarage will be attending the Charlotte AutoFair this weekend April 4-7, 2013. Lucky for us, it’s right down the road at the famous Charlotte Motor Speedway. The majority of the MyClassicGarage team will be in attendance at least one day for the fun-filled weekend.
The Charlotte AutoFair is a semiannual national car show that includes the Antique Automobile Club of America. There will be 10,000 vendor spaces full of restoration parts and cars for sale. Count on over 1,600 vehicles for sale in the car corral.
If you will be in attendance, stop by the MyClassicGarage booth. We will have iPads setup for you to sign up to win the 1970 Hemicuda we’re giving away this December, as well as ask any questions you may have about the website or anything classic cars.
The team loves talking about classic and muscle cars, just like the rest of you, so we have decided to bring a special car to break the ice. To find our booth, look for this 1970 Grabber Blue Mustang Boss 302 located at booth 20 in the Sprint garage.
An original Boss from factory, it has had a full recent restoration and is sure to please even the most discerning eyes. A date-correct small block 302 rated at 290 SCCA-winning horsepower was dropped into its engine bay. Sit in the black vinyl buckets, admire the original gauges, grab that Hurst T-handle 4-speed shifter and you’ll be wishing you had one in your garage. Lucky for you, the car is for sale at RK Motors Charlotte.
If you can’t make it out to this show, see the schedule below for when MyClassicGarage makes it to your town. Rumor is the Hemicuda will be in Palm Beach, Florida this weekend for the Barrett-Jackson. Stop by there if you get a chance.
Hope to see you at these shows or any future ones!
