Labor Day, a holiday created in the good ol’ U.S. of A for the workingman. Images of the curvy, bonnet-clad woman flexing her bicep and American flags come to mind, but to the automotive enthusiast, curvy cars are at the forefront of their temporal lobe.
That’s right, this Labor Day weekend is the Auctions America by RM Auburn Fall event. The event officially begins August 29th and ends September 1st. Carlisle Events will exclusively present the swap meet and car corral components. Here’s what their website had to say about the event, “Auburn Fall is a classic car and collector swap meet, auction and car corral held annually in September at the Auburn Auction Park in Auburn, Indiana.”
Donne Gould, President of Auctions America said they “…expect up to 75,000 people to attend and will sell about 1,300 cars. There will be another 500 to 1,000 private sales on site. Total transactions will be $30 million.”
MyClassicGarage will be in attendance explaining to future users their free online tools to track and manage their entire classic car inventory, even if it is one car. To catch more attention, an eye-catching Limelight Green 1970 Hemicuda will be at the booth. This is the same car MyClassicGarage will be giving away this December to one lucky user. It’s free to sign up, and the site is free to use.
Stop by if you get a chance and say hey to Tom. He’ll be there to help you sign up to win the car and answer any questions you may have of the site.
If you can’t make it out, you can always signup online here, or catch us at any of these upcoming shows.
